This weekend I went with my colleague Oi to the snow festival in Sapporo. We saw all the impressive snow sculptures, went to the Sapporo historical village, Otaru, went into an igloo, went tobogganing, went down an ice slide, went on a horse drawn sleigh and, of course, made snow angels. It was less cold than I expected, but probably this was just because my snow suit kept me so warm. It was only actually snowing one of the days we were there. The rest of the time the weather was fantastic. I have only put a small selection of the photos I took on this blog, because I took too many and you would be bored, but I think they give a good impression of the festival.
