Visiting the Haases

In the 2 weeks after Easter I went to visit my friend Maria and family in the US. I had a fantastic time catching up, playing kids games, visiting local places, going to 'soccer' practice, going to the circus, meeting their friends and talking about the Royal wedding to them all, despite sleeping through the majority of the tv footage of it! I didn't get much sleep thanks to too many late nights chatting with chocolate wine and with a personal alarm clock 'Saya, Saya', (neither of which I would have changed) so I wasn't going to get up at 4am for anything!
My trip gave me an opportunity to visit Canada. Thank you to Cornelius for driving us all to Niagara Falls. The waterfalls are spectacular. I recommend everyone who hasn't seen them to go. The photos really don't do them justice. I also went to visit Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, where unfortunately it rained quite a bit, but I enjoyed the food, sightseeing and several art museums.
Thank you to Maria and family for putting me up and putting up with me for so long. I'm very grateful. I loved every minute of my visit. I miss you all and hope to see you again not so far away!
