August is fireworks season, so I'm making the most of it.
Last weekend I went to the Edogawa fireworks display with my Japanese language school. Despite the display lasting 1 hour, it seemed to pass very quickly. The fireworks were huge! The first ones were so loud and big, I thought it was an explosion instead!
This weekend I went with Jason, a friend from badminton, to see the Tokyo Bay fireworks from Odaiba. 2 other friends were meant to be joining us, but unfortunately were ill. Odaiba was not one of the 3 official viewing points, but there were still millions of people there. I can't imagine how busy the other places were.
