My colleague Gai won 2 tickets in a lottery at work to see the baseball at Tokyo Dome, but didn't want to go as she's already been, so she gave me the tickets. My friend Marc, who I know from the church I went to in Reading, was visiting Tokyo on a business trip, so he had the other ticket. Thank you to both of you.

We watched the Yomiuri Giants (Tokyo team) against the Chunichi Dragons (Nagoya). The Giants won 8 - 4. By the end of the 4 hour game I think I just about understood the rules. Having all commentary in Japanese hindered things.

I enjoyed the experience, but don't think I'll go again. Once is enough!
