Claire and I visited the famous Sensoo-ji temple in Asakusa. It is in every guide book, so I think every tourist in Tokyo was there! It was definitely not a temple for reflection. Everybody inside seemed to be finding out their fortune instead. They would pick a stick at random from a box, then match it to a drawer. Inside was a piece of paper with their fortune on it. It was all in Kanji, so we didn't join in.
